🔥 WHO ARE YOU WHEN THE UNIFORM COMES OFF AND THE NEXT CHAPTER BEGINS?
Three incredible guests are coming to The MisFitNation and The ToosDay Crüe this week—and each brings a completely different story of identity, purpose, mental health, and rebuilding.
⚓ SUNDAY – FRANCINE JUHLIN
The MisFitNation welcomes retired military aircraft electrician and Veteran author Francine Juhlin.
Francine served in the U.S. Navy, Army National Guard, and federal civil service. After years of service, she faced something many Veterans understand: figuring out identity, health, confidence, and purpose beyond the uniform.
Her journey eventually took her from technical military roles into storytelling, education, and helping others find their voice.
🎙️ TOOSDAY – JONATHAN COLE
The Crüe welcomes retired U.S. Marine Corps officer and The Bunkhouse host Jonathan Cole.
Sixteen years in uniform and three combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan taught Jon that leadership was never really about technology.
It was about people.
His own transition was difficult. Finding employment wasn't the biggest challenge—it was waking up without the sense of purpose he'd known while serving.
After witnessing the consequences of untreated mental health struggles, Jon transformed The Bunkhouse into a platform focused on Veteran mental health and Veterans supporting Veterans.
🧠 THURSDAY – JOHN KROTEC
Jake hosts U.S. Army Veteran, entrepreneur, speaker, and writer John Krotec.
After leaving the Army, John built a family and successful business—but in 2012, an alcohol-fueled incident resulted in a traumatic brain injury and forced him to confront trauma from his past.
We'll explore TBI, trauma, marriage, CBT, healing through creative pursuits, and rebuilding when life forces you to answer:
Who am I now?
🎧 PLUS Wednesday: The CAVARTS Art of Podcasting crew tackles the real cost of podcasting—from startup to scaling up.
