How much good is already happening around you while you’re rushing through the day?
For Day 8 of The MisFitNation Gratitude Challenge, our friend and U.S. Army veteran Rebecca Tutela joins us from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, to share what she notices when she slows down.
She’s grateful for Mike, her partner, who shows up for her and her kids in the little ways that add up. She treasures watching Danny and Lizzie grow and make memories together, and she gives thanks for her parents and sisters, who are always in her corner.
Rebecca also recognizes the people at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) who advocate for care and treatment for children with rare genetic diseases. It’s personal for her family, and she’s grateful for the hope that work offers.
A career that gives her flexibility to be present for her family and the chance to volunteer in support of fellow veterans round out her reflection. It’s a practice she wants to carry well beyond November.
👇 Your Day 8 challenge is to pause long enough to notice one good thing you might have rushed past. What did you notice?
