U.S. Army Veteran Chris Lancia: Building Bridges for Veterans in Tennessee

Welcome to The MisFitNation Show! In this episode, we're honored to have U.S. Army Veteran Chris Lancia as our guest.

Chris Lancia is Tennessee's first Director of Military and Veteran Initiatives, dedicated to making Tennessee the top destination for veterans and their families. With a 26-year career in the Army as a logistician and public affairs officer, Chris brings extensive experience in designing sustainment plans and managing communications for large organizations.

Beyond his military career, Chris has spent over a decade serving in the veteran non-profit sector, coaching and mentoring transitioning service members and veterans. He's also the co-founder of Grid Square Recon, LLC, focused on connecting military families with their surrounding communities.

As a board member of the Two Ravens Foundation, Chris supports equine therapy for veterans. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English Communications and is pursuing a master’s degree in public policy. A graduate of prestigious leadership programs, including the George W. Bush Institute’s Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program and the Travis Manion Foundation’s Spartan Leadership Program, Chris is dedicated to empowering veterans and fostering community connections.
