Another powerful week across The MisFitNation Cart Talk and The ToosDay Crue, filled with real conversations around veteran resilience, mental health, leadership, and growth beyond the uniform.
đź›’ ToosDay with The Crue
This week, The ToosDay Crue welcomed U.S. Marine Corps Veteran David Shoup. David served as an infantry rifleman during Operation Iraqi Freedom, with additional duties supporting special operations units in multiple environments.
After leaving active duty, David faced the harsh realities many combat veterans know too well—nightmares, rage, anxiety, isolation, and emotional chaos. Instead of accepting PTSD as a life sentence, David chose to fight back. This was a raw, honest, and hope-filled conversation about healing, ownership, and redefining life after war.
