Part 1 — Grief & Gratitude

This year brought deep emotion for US Army Veteran Marie Slider Henricksen.
In July, she lost her father — a loss that reshaped her heart and her journey.

But even in grief, Marie found gratitude:
Gratitude for the moments she shared with him.
Gratitude for the memories, the lessons, and the love that continues.
Gratitude for the strength to feel, to process, and to heal without hiding.

Her reminder for us:
Grief and gratitude can live in the same space.
One does not cancel the other — they teach each other how to breathe.

What memory are you grateful for today?
