This week, The ToosDay Crüe welcomes U.S. Navy Veteran Daryl Makin, founder of A Soldier’s Child Foundation (ASC) — a powerful nonprofit honoring our fallen heroes by serving their children.
After his neighbor, Marine Staff Sergeant Marcus Golczynski, was killed by sniper fire in Iraq, Daryl was inspired by Marcus’s final words: “We are warriors… stand beside us, we would do it for you.” From that moment, ASC was born.
Today, ASC supports over 5,000 children of fallen service members through birthday celebrations, camps, mentorship, and scholarships — offering hope, community, and healing.
