Another impactful week is in the books for The MisFitNation and The ToosDay Crüe — where we continue sharing stories of service, resilience, leadership, and purpose.
Here’s what happened this week:
🇺🇸 Sunday – The MisFitNation welcomed U.S. Army Veteran Martinez Vandergrift
Martinez Vandergrift joined us for a powerful conversation built on a lifetime of service.
He served as a Combat Medic for more than two decades, dedicating his career to helping others in some of the most demanding situations imaginable.
After military service, Martinez continued to lead through JROTC mentorship and by serving in the greater Kansas City area health department as an expert in Disaster and Emergency Management.
His story is a reminder that true leadership doesn’t retire—it evolves.
💣 Tuesday – The ToosDay Crüe welcomed USMC EOD Veteran Hart Holmberg
Hart Holmberg served 24 years in one of the military’s most dangerous fields—Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
That means a career spent doing work where precision, courage, and calm under pressure were non-negotiable.
Today, Hart continues to serve as President of the EOD Motorcycle Club, advocating daily for EOD warriors and preserving the brotherhood that lasts long after service ends.
A powerful conversation about sacrifice, purpose, and continuing the mission.
✈️ Leadership in Action – Rich LaMonica in Texas
For three days, Rich LaMonica traveled to Navasota, Texas for a Leadership Summit with more than 100 Spartan leaders from across the United States through the Travis Manion Foundation.
Leaders sharpening leaders.
Growth, service, and building stronger communities continue far beyond the microphone.
💥 This is what The MisFitNation is all about:
Real people.
Real stories.
Real leadership.
