🎣 TOOSDAY – Laura Lindsey | Heroes on the Water

The CrĂĽe was in full motion this week, kicking things off with Laura Lindsey, Development Director for Heroes on the Water.
Since 2007, Heroes on the Water has helped veterans, first responders, and their families heal through the simple yet profound experience of kayak fishing, nature, and community.
Laura is a master storyteller and nonprofit leader who turns generosity into impact—helping the world better understand post-service life and how connection and purpose restore peace and belonging.

🎨 THURSDAY – US Army Veteran Travis Landchild

We closed out the interviews with Travis Landchild, U.S. Army Veteran, former Mental Health Specialist, and creator of Stick Vet Comics.
Travis’s work is raw, symbolic, darkly hilarious, and brutally honest—capturing the demons we carry, the transitions we fight through, and the healing we pursue after service.
As founder of Stick Nation, he’s created a space where veterans can tell the truth, laugh together, and heal together.

🏆 WEDNESDAY – A HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE MISFITNATION

Midweek, The MisFitNation traveled to Washington, D.C. for the American Freedom Fund – M3 Gala, where we were humbled and honored to receive Veteran Podcast of the Year.
This recognition belongs to every guest who trusted us with their story and every listener who continues to show up, listen, and share.
