Beth Runkle on The MisFitNation: Embracing Faith and Military Life

On our next episode of The MisFitNation with host Rich LaMonica, we welcome Beth Runkle, a dedicated military spouse of 25 years. Beth’s journey of faith began a few years after marrying her military husband, sparked by her involvement in Bible study. Her relationship with Jesus Christ transformed her life and marriage, inspiring her and her husband to share their experiences with other military couples.

After her husband’s retirement, they joined Cru Military, a Campus Crusade for Christ division, and moved to Colorado to continue their gospel-centered ministry. They now serve as missionaries to the military, working with cadets at the Air Force Academy and engaging in ministry with couples and women at four military bases in Colorado Springs.

Beth is also completing a master’s degree from Gateway Seminary to enhance her ability to lead Bible studies with military spouses and women. She is set to publish a book, "Another Move, God? 30 Encouragements to Embrace Your Life as a Military Wife," with B & H Publishing in October 2024. Beth and her husband are proud parents of two college-aged children.
