Chris Norris is a retired U.S. Navy veteran with a 24-year career that included assignments in Naval Special Operations and non-standard mission environments.
As the founder of Cognitive Fitness Coach LLC, he now applies hard-earned insights from high-stakes leadership, mental performance under pressure, and trauma recovery to help others thrive.
Chris holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and advanced certifications in CBT, Narrative Exposure Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. His coaching approach blends breathwork, meditation, and cognitive fitness strategies grounded in neuroscience and behavioral science to support high-performing professionals, veterans, and first responders in rebuilding resilience, regulating stress, and realigning with purpose.
He developed and facilitated the Master Habits Course, an identity-based behavior change program, and is preparing to launch his upcoming Digital Detoxification Course, focused on overcoming screen addiction and restoring focused attention. He also leads Train Your Mind, a free 6-week trauma-informed guided meditation series.
